Kurtsan Medical Industry and Trade Inc. was established in 1988 to operate under German technology in order to produce medical bands and hospijtal materials. It started production in 1992 in a covered plant of 5.500 square meters situated on a land of 55.000 square meters in Bandırma in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of WHO (World Health Organisation). Kurtsan Medikal A.Ş., all of which products are licenced by the Ministry of Health having a TSE certificate was promoted to TS-ISO-EN 9001:2000 version of TSE-ISO-EN 9002 Quality System Certificate in 2003. since 1988, it has been acting as the sole Turkish distributor of Lohmann&Rauscher, which is one of the biggest medical product manufacturers of the world. Kurtsan Medical is now supplying a large portion of Turkey’s medical band requirement and is exporting its products to all world countries including Europe.
