MELTEM KURTSAN
Meltem Kurtsan was born in 1960 in Istanbul, graduated from Pharmacy Faculty of Istanbul University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked in every management level of ''KURTSAN Group''. She is the president of the group since 2004. Throughout her business career she attended several business development activities including Owner President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School during the summers of 1997-98-99. She is nominated  as ''Global Leader for Tomorrow''  by World Economic Forum in 1999, participated annual meetings in Davos for three years. She has started to focus on intellectual property rights and became Trademark and European Patent Attorney by passing the examination of Turkish Patent Institute in 2001. She is the founder and  President of Women Entrepreneurs Association (KAGIDER, www.kagider.org). She is the president of Intellectual Property Rights Working Group at Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Assosiation (TUSIAD, www.tusiad.org.tr). She is the member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO www.ypo.org ), TUSIAD (www.tusiad.org.tr),Corporate Governance Associtation of Turkey (www.tkyd.org) and  Bugday Associtation (www.bugday.org).

MERAL KURTSAN
Meral Kurtsan, who was born in İzmir in 1942 finished İzmir High School for Girls in 1959. Meral Kurtsan, who married with Niyazi Kurtsan, Pharmacist, has two daughters named Meltem and Deniz. She started the Faculty of Pharmacy of Marmara University after her daughters had started to primary school. Meral Kurtsan, who graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1971 is currently operating ''Büyük'' Pharmacy at Sirkeci. Meral Kurtsan set up ''Dirlik'' Pharmacy at Merter in 2002. She continues at ''Büyük'' Pharmacy her efforts towards protecting human health. She is also assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors at Kurtsan Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Kurbilsev Holding.
